ABOUT LAURA STEELE
Laura Steele is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and maintain independence as they age. She has over 10 years of experience working with older adults and specializes in walking mechanics, stability, posture, strength, and confidence-building for adults age 60+.
After earning her Master’s degree from Furman University, Laura worked extensively with seniors in both physical therapy and pulmonary rehabilitation settings, including NovaCare Rehabilitation and Inova Fairfax Hospital. This clinical foundation gives her a unique understanding of how to work safely and effectively with clients who have medical conditions, mobility limitations, balance concerns, joint replacements, neurological changes, or other specialized needs.
Laura’s approach goes beyond traditional exercise. Her work focuses on restoring efficient movement patterns, improving walking confidence, building strength from the ground up, and helping clients continue doing the things they love for as long as possible.
She is also the founder of The Rewalking Method™, a structured walking-restoration system designed to retrain the brain and body for more stable, confident, and efficient movement.
Laura would love the opportunity to meet with you and discuss how she can help support your health, mobility, and long-term quality of life.
